Myofascial release techniques are gaining popularity as a way to relieve stress, assist chronic pain as well as injury prevention and rehabilitation for athletes. Using simple tools like myofascial or tennis balls, we explore tension patterns and gain flexibility, whether it’s yoga or sports or simply living an active life.
Learn key techniques for overall body as well as specialty techniques to relieve problems like plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and headaches. While working with the balls, you are either lying down, sitting in a chair or standing near a wall. We avoid holding positions of strain, which would be counterproductive to the goal of releasing tension.
Props required: Please bring 2 tennis / mysofascial/lacrosse balls. If you have foam roller, please bring them along too.
